“No new weapons can be introduced without changing conditions, and every change in condition will demand a modification in the application ofthe principles of war.”
Major General John Frederick Charles ‘Boney’ Fuller, CB, CBE, DSO (1878 to 1966) was a senior British Army officer, military historian, and strategist. Notable as an early theorist of modern armoured warfare, including categorising principles of warfare.
An easy and familiar demonstration of this would be the Blitzkrieg strategy utilised by the German in World War II.
