Don’t forget that episode 2 (day 3/4) of SAS: Who Dares Wins (which mimics the UK Special Forces Selection process) is on Channel 4 @ 21:00 (9pm).
Only 20 of the original 30 contestants are still in, and I’m looking forward to Sam the Trainee Stuntman (who is ‘fitter’ than everyone else and going to be bigger than Jason Statham) getting beasted some more. Only numpties don’t eat breakfast!
This week, the two weakest members (as chosen by the group) will become leaders on a casualty evacuation task. The casualty evacuation task (known as a Physical Leadership Development (PLD) task in contemporary British Army vernacular) is typically delivered’ at the end of the field exercise on British Army CLM courses (command, leadership and management).
The contestants will undertake a number of physical tasks until 5 contestants voluntarily withdraw themselves. Moving in to day 3, the contestants will really start to feel the fatigue kick in as the result of continuous exercise and sleep deprivation takes its toll.
