The top tips for helping you get on are:

1. Keep your skills and knowledge up to date;
2. Get on with your colleagues;
3. Have integrity;
4. Use your initiative;
5. Deliver;
6. Ditch the attitude of entitlement; and
7. Don’t be self-centered.
