National Fitness Day (2022)

National Fitness Day 2022 is taking place today, Wednesday 21st September 20222.

It is a chance to highlight the role physical activity plays across the UK, helping exercise professionals and organisation raise awareness of its importance in assisting people to lead healthier lifestyles through being physical active.

It is believed that physical activity has the ability to bring people together and to positively impact on all of our physical, mental and social wellbeing. Therefore, during this campaign, we will celebrate how a huge range of activities can be enjoyed by participants of all ages and backgrounds.

Previously we have seen ‘plank offs’, yoga and pilates classes, treadmill challenges, high-street HIIT classes, dance-offs, mass walks, virtual workouts and we look forward to seeing many more.
