Recruiters’ vs Usain Bolt

Did you know that nine seconds is now the average amount of time recruiters spend browsing a CV? Quicker than Usain Bolt can run 100 metres.

Half of them have only six seconds to spare thanks to the increasing pressures of filling positions, says a poll for National Citizen Service.

The findings suggests recruitment is moving closer to a ‘Tinder’ model where people instantly swipe their favourites through and discard those who do not immediately appeal (recruitment based on merit anyone!).

Two new apps now doing the rounds in the US offer exactly that service.

Perhaps you could have a pretentious CV like Google co-founder Sergey Brin which simply states: I co-founded Google.
