The Vehicle Demonstration and Manufacture (VDM) Team, part of the the Land Equipment and Operating Centre, consists of three primary Output Delivery Areas (ODAs):

1. AJAX;
2. Warrior Capability Sustainment Programme (WCSP); and
3. CTAI 40mm Cannon.

AJAX is a medium weight, multi-role AFV with substantially better firepower, mobility and protection than any of its peer vehicles worldwide. Its introduction will see a step change in how the Army is able to collect, process and distribute information and intelligence.

WCSP will see the current in-service Warrior platform upgraded to improve its fight ability, lethality and electronic architecture. The improvement will see integration of a fully stabilised turret incorporating the new 40mm cannon. The programme will also extend the out of service date from 2025 to 2040.
