Prior to 2017, the British Army issued Silver Shadows, PT-03 (cross-trainer), and PT1000 (running shoes) to recruits.

The current training shoes issued to recruits are:

• The Magnum shoe fitness trainer for outdoor use; and
• The Hi Tec Viper Court for indoor use.
