An ex special forces soldier has launched a commando theme park on the Gold Coast.

IN a storage estate off the main drag at Yatala is what looks to be just another big square box warehouse.

Until you step inside.

What greets you is impressive and intriguing. Right in front of you is a high tower with a climbing wall leading almost to the roof. In front of that but off to the side is what resembles a platform with two platforms jutting out like diveboards except instead of being above a pool they are four and seven metres above a huge inflatable airbag.

To the left of that is a huge rope swing that flings you through an 18-metre nailbiting thrill ride — should you have the balls to try it.
