The Adventurous Training Group (Army) is seeking personnel to serve as temporary employed elsewhere (TEE) staff (previously incremental staff) at various locations on detached duty.
There is a requirement for instructors, stores staff, drivers, and other general duties staff.
Previous AT qualifications or experience are valuable but not essential.
Candidates must be physically fit – medically fully or limited deployable – and opportunities exist across the rank range from Private to Captain.
Applicants can attend a Unit Adventurous Training Leader (UATL) Course at the Joint Services Mountain Training Centre in North Wales, and over a three month period will gain leader or instructor qualifications in up to five disciplines.
For more information email email@example.com or telephone 01980 668899.
What is the UATL Course?
The Unit Adventurous Training Leader (UATL) course is held at Llanrwst in North Wales.
This 12 week course will qualify soldiers as basic leaders in Mountain Biking, Rock Climbing, Kayaking, Canoeing and Summer Mountaineering.
If individuals already hold a qualification in any of these disciplines, they will be given the opportunity to progress in their chosen activity.
