Aim of the Course

To train Armoured Corps non-commissioned officers (NCOs) to become Armoured Recce Regimental Gunnery Instructors.

Facilitated by IDT(A).

Entry Standards

• Lance Corporal to Corporal from Armoured units.
• IELTS Level 5.

Duration

50 working days, with three (3) courses per year.

Location

Armour Centre (ARMCEN) Lulworth.

Outline of Course

On completion of this course students will be able to:

• Operate 30mm training equipment.
• Deliver instruction on a 30mm crew gunner course.
• Carry out pre-course and pre-firing training.
• Carry out testing procedures and conduct crew gunner course firing exercises.

CVR(T) Regimental Gunnery Instructor.
