Longer Life: Optimists vs Pessimists

Those who look on the bright side of life might live a little longer than pessimists, according to new research.

A study published in JAMA Network Open found that those with a ‘glass half full; attitude to life were 35% less likely to suffer from cardiovascular disease, and had an 18% lower risk of death compared to those with a negative (or glass half empty) approach.
