Linking Exercise Performance & Cognitive Performance

A study by German scientists, published in the Scientific Reports Journal, suggests that physical fitness is associated with changes in the brain’s white matter which can lead to improved memory and better problem solving, as well as improved structural changes in the brain.

The results also demonstrated that a drop in exercise causes reduced cognitive performance.
