What is a Range Action Safety Plan?

A Range Action Safety Plan (RASP) is the document that prescribes the safety policy of a range, produced by the Range Conducting Officer (RCO) in accordance with Pamphlet 21.

The RCO is the person in charge of a range.

A Senior Planning Officer (SPO) is the person with overall responsibility for overseeing the planning of ranges, normally in the rank of Major (OF-3).
