What is the Number of 1-Star Posts under Commander Field Army?


In 2015, the British Army had four 3-star (OF-8) posts within Army Command:

  1. Deputy Chief of the General Staff (DCGS).
  2. Commander Field Army (CFA).
  3. Commander Allied Rapid Reaction Corps (ARRC).
  4. Commander Personnel Support Command (PSC).

The CFA had four 1-star (OF-6) posts within their span of control:

  1. Assistant Chief of Staff Commitments (ACOSC).
  2. Assistant Chief of Staff Support (ACOSS).
  3. Assistant Chief of Staff Warfare (ACOSW).
  4. Assistant Chief of Staff Training (ACOST).
