This course is for personnel employed or about to be employed in non-instructional appointments at Phase 1 & 2 training establishments who have regular contact with trainees. This course is for RN, Army, RAF and Civil Servants.

Course Aim

This course provides effective listening skills and techniques required in identifying personal welfare issues amongst Phase 1 and Phase 2 trainees. The process of referral to other agencies is also covered.

Entry Requirements

Applications should be made to DCTS Course Booking Cell using application form. Courses are loaded 8 weeks prior to their start date. Applications received after the cut-off date are automatically placed on a reserve list. All RN personnel are to apply via the RN Course Booking Cell at HMS Collingwood.
