UK Armed Forces Personal Guide to Nutrition

The UK Armed Forces Personal Guide to Nutrition was produced for the MOD by QinetiQ Ltd and was last updated in 2006.

The guide is divided into five sections:

  1. Eating a balanced diet;
  2. Your energy requirements;
  3. Your fluid requirements;
  4. Operational ration packs; and
  5. Sports drinks and food supplements.

The Armed Forces Nutrition Advisory Service (AFNAS) provides expert advice and information on diet, nutrition and military feeding.
